The
medium I want to work with involves computers. It interested me what people can
create using a computers and various programs . At
first I was interested in wanting to learn how
to created things such as games and computer programs.
My motivation behind this was that I
grew up playing video games as a kid and I wanted to
learn how to make them. That’s what got
me interested in learning about technology and how it
functions. Later on in life I learned how to
do computer networking and later tried to learn
computer science. I became aware of my
limitations and what I was capable of. It depended on
how hard I could worked on a project and
seeing if my hard work would pay off .Now I have an
interest in learning about media and
building webpages along with learning how to make
short films.
When
it comes to influences I don’t really have any in particular. Most of the time
I was
taught by my family to always put effort into what you’re
interested in. As for artists I’m
interested in would be John Carmack for playing a big
role in creating the first person shooter
genre in video gaming. I wouldn’t say I’m completely passionate
about anything in particular but
I’m hoping to gain a passion in my media major and
find what I’m really good at. So far the
class I’m most interested in right now is web
designing since it corresponds to my interest of
creating new products with technology.
